Meet the Chef

I didn’t just decide what I finally wanted to be when I grew up…I always knew!  Since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a love of cooking!  I was either always in the kitchen helping my mom or trying it myself while she was at work.  I loved pretending that I could write my own cookbooks.  I’ve always been a shy reserved girl so to me, my gift of something homemade from the kitchen is where my love came through.  It’s still that way to this day!




When I got married, my husband encouraged me to do something with “my love of all things food” so I decided to go to Culinary School.  I started to collect cookbooks and I would read them like other people read novels.  I never thought of myself actually working behind the line in a restaurant so after a string of “foodie jobs” I decided I wanted to go into restaurant management which I enjoyed for several years.

Now after being a stay-at-home mom for a few years, I’ve decided it’s time to put my extensive collection of cookbooks to use and bring my two passions to the front burner.  Everyone knew of my cooking, so I figured why not put it to good use.  By combining my culinary knowledge and management skills together to start my own business…Thyme Savour  Personal Chef Service.  I hope to be of service to you!
